With the introduction of new schemes, validity of 56 days of prepaid plans of Rs 309, Rs 349 and Rs 509 will be valid. Similar changes have been made in the existing schemes for postpaid users. The scheme of Rs. 399 will be the only scheme with validity of only 3 months whereas the second plan will be valid for 2 months. In the 34 prepaid plan, 20 GB data will be provided for 54 days and postpaid will give the same data for 2 months. Airtel Launches Superb Data Plan, Reliance Jio Gets Bumper

For the first time in the Recharge scheme of Jio-Dhan Dhan, the amount of Rs 509, which used to offer 2 GB daily data for the first 84 days, will now give 2GB daily data to users up to 112 GB for 56 days. Similarly, the plan of 999 was giving 120 GB data for the first 120 days and now 90 days of 90 GB data will be available to the users.

According to the company's website, Jio has reduced the proposed validity and effective data under a new scheme of Rs 309. On 9th April, Jio's Dhan Dhan started offering the offer of maximum 90 days after reaching the promotional period. According to information on the company's website, Jio will now present 56 GB data for 56 days for 30 days, effectively means that pre-paid users will get 1 GB data per day. Earlier, the pack was valid for 84 days for the same amount with 1 GB of data per day.

Since the launch in September 2016, rival telecommunications has already faced tough times with the disruptive proposals of Jio. Jio had prepared a data war in the telecom sector, from which other telecom operators were forced to retain their customers. Kotak Securities says, "This step is largely on the lines of hope ... It provides some respite (relief) to the industry which is stopping under the Jio Enrichment Invasion." The new entrants have left no stone unturned to gain a huge customer base in just 10 months. According to the latest data released by TRAI, Reliance Jio added 3. 9 million new users in the month of April for their customer base.
