Again, Apple Sues Rp 13,500 Trillion on California iPhone Problem

Last month, thousands of iPhone users around the world finally got confirmation regarding the legacy iPhone that slowed down over time. The problem is found due to decreasing battery and Apple's way of handling it. Apple, in 2018 we could see a low-cost iPad

Because Li-Ion cells have a limited lifetime and their ability to withstand full loads decreases over the years, Apple has established a security mechanism: if the battery falls below 80 percent of its capacity, the iPhone hardware will be downgraded permanently. That way, you get worse performance, but also the same battery life.

While it sounds plausible, many users are really upset that Apple did not disclose this information before, while many people have made the choice to upgrade their iPhone, as it is distracted by its sluggish operation. In fact, they can replace the battery and have a device that works like new. As a result, a class action lawsuit was filed.

The lawsuit now reaches nine, and one of them asks for an exorbitant amount of money. Eighth claim was filed by Violetta Mailyan and her lawyer in the California Court. They demanded US $999,999,999,000 (nearly US $1trillion) or worth Rp 13,500 trillion. In the ninth demands filed in New York by Raisa Drantivy and his legal team, they demanded a lower, US$100,000,000 or around Rp 1.3 trillion.
In addition to the unusual amount of money, the lawsuit makes sense. The lawsuit claims that iPhone users "reject the use, utility, and value of older iPhone models due to performance slowdown". Apple is judged to be deceiving users, indirectly encouraging people to buy new phones instead of fixing old ones.

Previously also reported that Apple faces a class action lawsuit in Israel for slowing the performance of the old iPhone. Lawsuit filed by two Israelis at Christmas, December 25, 2017 it sued Apple worth US $ 125 million or around Rp 1.7 trillion.
